Mark A. Johnson leads forensic arts and animation for Litigation Media Group. With more than 14 years as a practicing trial attorney and over 19 years devoted to three-dimensional computer graphics, Mark is considered one of the early trail blazers in the utilization of innovative and creative applications of film, video and other demonstrative tools used in litigation and mediation.
Early in his career, Mark founded Second Chair Litigation Support as a company devoted to applying high-level demonstrative evidence techniques to major litigation projects. He co-founded Visual Forensics with Dr. Arthur Ginsburg, where he was responsible for the animation of a Marine Prowler jet that struck a ski gondola near Cavalese, Italy, in 1998. Mr. Johnson’s work has been featured on CBS 60 Minutes, NBC Today, ABC Good Morning America and several local network affiliate broadcasts. His work has also been seen on Court TV and featured in articles appearing in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, Law Office Computing and several other legal publications. He is a frequent speaker and contributor of articles for trade publications and treatises in fields involving demonstrative evidence and computer animation. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Kansas State University and attended the University of Kansas School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate.
